How to connect my domain with Shopify?

If you’ve purchased a domain from CodeHost and are looking to integrate it with your Shopify store, you’re in the right place. To successfully connect your CodeHost domain with Shopify, it’s crucial to follow the steps outlined below meticulously. Missing or skipping a step might cause delays or errors in the process, so ensure you complete each action carefully.

Step 1 : Login to your Shopify Store Dashboard

Step 2 : Click on 'Settings'

Step 3 : Click on 'Domains'

Step 4 : Click on 'Connect Existing Domain'

Step 5 : Enter your domain name & click on 'Next'

Step 6 : Configure DNS Records 

After completing these steps, you will be directed to a page like this, where you'll see DNS records that can be configured to the required directly from your client area.

• Go to Domain Management area of CodeHost

Click here : https://user.codehost.in/clientarea.php?action=domains

• Select your domain or click on '...' & then 'Manage Domain'

• Click on 'DNS Management'

• Add Shopify-provided DNS records there one by one

Step 7 : Verify DNS Records

Go back to Shopify & click on Verify

Please note that DNS records may take anywhere from 15 minutes to 48 hours to propagate across all ISPs. Kindly wait until your domain shows as verified during this period. We appreciate your patience!

Congratulations! Your domain has been successfully connected to Shopify.
