How to transfer a existing domain into CodeHost?

Please follow these steps to order your desired domain name from CodeHost.in and start your wonderful journey.

Step 1: Visit Our Domain Transfer Page

Step 2: Enter Your Domain Name 

Enter your existing domain name in the search box and click "TRANSFER"

Step 3 : Enter AUTH Code / EPP Code / Domain Secret

After clicking "TRANSFER", a popup will appear on your screen. You have to enter EPP Code/ AUTH Code/ Domain secret of your domain. Then click on the CONFIRM button 

EPP Code : If you do not have the EPP Code, the domain transfer cannot be initiated. Please contact your current registrar to obtain the EPP Code before proceeding.

  Transfer Lock :  Ensure that the transfer lock on your domain is unlocked. This can be managed from your previous registrar’s platform. Both steps are essential to successfully initiate the domain transfer.

Step 4 : Selection of Nameservers 

1. If you want to use custom nameservers, you can enter them at this stage. Nameservers can also be updated later if needed. Please note that, in most cases, the current nameservers will remain the same as they were before. 

2. If no changes are required, you can skip this step and click Continue.

3. You'll be redirected to Checkout page

On this page, you'll be able to :

• Select domain registration period (e.g. 1 Year, 2 Years, etc.)
• Apply promo code
• Add more domains & hosting plans
• Create new account 
• Login using Google, Facebook or Twitter
• Add new user details (contact)
• Add additional note or message for us
• Check final pricing details 
• Complete payment & order

4. Signup or Login : If you already have an account, please click on "Existing Customer Login" or if you don't have an account, click on "Create New Account" & fill all the details required

5. Select Domain Registrant Information : 

• If you are registering the domain for yourself, you can select the default option: "Use Default Contact (Details Above)" This will automatically apply your account's contact details to the domain registration.
• If you are registering the domain on behalf of someone else, we recommend creating a new contact and using it specifically for that domain registration order. This ensures accurate ownership and management details for the domain.

6. Select Payment Methods : We offer a wide range of payment options to facilitate your transaction. Most of these options are listed here. Please select the appropriate payment method that suits you best. If you want to pay any method except these, contact us, we'll provide you the payment details to complete the transaction.

7. Read the Terms of Service properly and check the box. 

You can add customized messages or special notes for us in the Additional Information box. This is a great way to provide any specific instructions or details related to your order.

8. Click on Checkout 

It will redirect you to the payment gateway. Complete the transaction.
